The Santino Decision

The Santino Decision

When you think about driving to work you really get a first hand feel for how desperate and scary some commuters can be. Take for example the women driving in the fast lane using her knees to control the steering wheel while applying make up, smoking a cigarette and drinking coffee. Talk about multi tasking. Now that people use their IPods, IPhones, and Lap tops while driving you would think there would be a lot more summons issued by the police and yet it still continues. I would like to have a new law enforced called The Santino Decision. When a person is arrested for having their radio at a level that’s pissing other people off in their immediate area you remove the radio from his car for a month. If he’s arrested again for a similar offense, you take his car. To get them back they have to pass a test. Not just any test, maybe something along the lines of a written exam on why you think you should have your shit back. Maybe have law abiding citizens who have been affected by similar circumstances grade them. You fail, you lose more. Or how about that bastard behind you in line at the bank who thinks that you really gives a shit how toasted he plans on getting with his bud’s that evening. My thought is if I’m going to be effected by your actions, then I should be given the right to decide what your punishment should be. It only seems fare.
